Commercial and multi-day fishing vessels expend up to 40% of their operational costs on fuel searching blindly for fish schools across unpredictable oceanic currents, while severe wholesale auction price collapses at coastal harbors frequently inflict devastating economic losses upon docking.

02 / SOLUTION

The Solution

We engineered an award-winning maritime intelligence system recognized with a SLASSCOM National Ingenuity Award. The solution trains gradient-boosted decision trees (XGBoost) on multi-year historical catch records, sea surface temperature (SST), and bathymetric data to forecast fish catch zones and optimal vessel navigation routes. A concurrent XGBoost predictive model forecasts daily coastal harbor market prices based on seasonal supply and demand dynamics, presented through an interactive React command radar backed by MongoDB spatio-temporal queries.
